Exporting feeds

You can export feeds from IBM Syndicated Feed Portlet to an Outline Processor Markup Language (OPML) compliant xml file.

About this task

To export feeds from IBM Syndicated Feed Portlet to an OPML-compliant xml file:

Procedure

  1. From the portlet menu, select Personalize, Edit Shared Settings, or Configure. The General tab is selected, by default.
  2. On the Subscriptions page, click Export.
  3. Click Save and specify the location for saving the xml file.
  4. Click Save.

What to do next

Note: The xml file created by the previous procedure cannot be used to import feeds into IBM Syndicated Feed Portlet by using the Import functionality, as described in Importing feeds. Feeds can be imported only by specifying an appropriate OPML URL.
