Adding a new context

You can add a new context at the first position of the hierarchy or to an existing context. The URL Mapping portlet has no limitation to the number of layers of contexts you create in the hierarchy.

1. Optional: If you want to add a new context to an existing context, click the context label to which you want to add the new context. The URL mapping portlet displays the context that you selected for adding a new context. If you want to add a new context at the first position of the hierarchy, omit this step.
2. Click New context. The URL mapping portlet displays a data entry field with the title Label.
3. Type the label for the new context in the entry field.
   Notes:

   1. The characters used for the label must be valid characters that can be used for URLs. The URL mapping portlet validates whether the label you type can be used in a URL.
   2. The maximum length for a label is 255 characters.
4. Click OK to save the context with the label that you typed or click Cancel if you do not want to save the new context. The URL mapping portlet returns to the previous panel. If you clicked OK, it displays the new context in the table.
